Bastille Festival Sydney
July 12th – July 15th
Sydney’s annual Bastille-inspired celebration of food, wine and art is back for another year! This four day celebration will unite people in the spirit of Bastille Day. This years event will not only take over Circular Quay, but expand into The Rocks as well. Attendees can expect fire twirlers, magicians, opera singers and salsa dancers in a lineup that includes live concerts, cabaret and street performances and DJ sets. But the entertainment isn’t the only thing to look forward to, a delicious assortment of specialty food, beer and wine will keep you well fed with energy levels high so you can keep watching and exploring. If previous years are anything to go by, Bastille Festival will be an epic showcase of food, wine and art.
Christmas in July Market
July 12th – July 15th
Can’t wait to start celebrating or just dying to experience a wintery Christmas? Head down to The Rocks this July for their French-inspired Christmas in July markets, set to run alongside the Bastille Festival. The Christmas spirit will take over the streets of The Rocks and twelve wooden chalets will be shipped in from France to make it feel as authentic as possible. These little shacks will be set up with vendors serving up mulled wine and an array of amazing Christmas pop up shops. The markets open at 11am each day but it’s when the sun goes down that the magic starts. Get lost in The Rocks and let them transport you to France’s most famous winter markets.
Igloos on the Pier

Pier One Sydney Harbour
Transparent igloos have popped up at Pier One and one of them has it’s very own hot tub! If you’ve been hankering for wintery waterside drinks but aren’t brave enough to face the cold, this could be your solution! These transparent dome shaped structures can be hired for yourself and up to 15 friends as long as you’re willing to indulge in a few cocktails, glasses of champagne and snacks from the Igloos on the Pier menu. You will be provided with fluffy robes, slippers and a change room and regular non-hot tub igloos are available too. Enjoy the winter sunsets and experience the hotel’s iconic Sydney location looking over Sydney Harbour and Walsh Bay.
Skating At Sydney Festival
