The Brookvale Show

It’s Brookvale Showtime! Free family fun on the Northern Beaches with entertainment, rides and thrills. Brookvale Show will feature a whole new emphasis on kid-friendly activities, inflatable rides, circus shows and main stage entertainment so you can experience the fun! Come for lunch and enjoy fantastic flavours from a variety of food trucks with a great mix of healthy and festive food choices. It’s sure to be a great family day out!

Night Noodle Markets

Hyde Park
Back and bigger than ever, the Night Noodle Markets will showcase over 40 different stalls including the likes of Mr Bao, Grumpy G’s Kitchen, Hoi Pinoy, Chat Thai and Chur Burger. For dessert, Gelato Messina will be back with a menu of pure wonder, Black Star Pastry will return for another year and Donut Papi will make its first appearance. Hyde Park will be transformed into ‘Hyde Park Palms’ inspired by California’s Palm Springs and will host a bunch of talks, parties and feasts. Make sure you’re hungry when you arrive because you’ll probably want to try everything!

Sculpture By The Sea

Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk
See the spectacular coastal walk transformed into a 2km long sculpture park over three weeks featuring 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. This free to the public exhibition captures the imagination of Sydney and its visitors and is the largest annual sculpture exhibition in the world.

Wellness Walk
Sunday 21st October
Government House for start and finish
Get out for a walk and increase your physical activity while showing your support for people living with mental illness, their families and carers. Choose between the 2km walk around the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens or a 5.9km across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and back. At the start and finish line you can enjoy the Wellness Festival, arrive early for pre-event activities and live music, then celebrate your achievement post-event with prizes, a BBQ and further entertainment on the picturesque grounds of Government House Sydney.

Women’s Stand Up Paddleboard Workshop
Saturday 13th October
Manly Kayak Centre
One for the ladies! Be guided through all the key areas of stand up paddleboarding with experienced instructors. The lesson includes 1 hour of instruction where you will learn balance, body alignment and stroke technique before progressing onto more advanced techniques. Followed by 1 hour of general hire so you can put your new skills to the test and explore beautiful Manly Cove at your own pace.
