  • NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week celebrations

For all art lovers, this high-quality presentation of original artworks, sculptures, and textiles from Aboriginal artists in the NT, WA and SA will be a delight to stroll through. There will also be Tjanpi weaving workshops and demonstrations of Rarrk painting and pandanus weaving for everyone to get involved. Did we mention it’s a free event?

However, if venturing outside seems too much for you this winter you can always rug up and book into the two-day ‘Unashamedly Original’ festival at the City Recital Hall. A short 800m walk from the Manly Fast Ferry Dock.

This multidisciplinary experience will push beyond the expected with collaborations of percussion, sound, space, and kinetics to stimulate your imagination.
